Mbabane – The Eswatini Investment Promotion Authority (EIPA) has opened applications for export-ready food and beverage businesses to exhibit at the Taipei International Food Show (Food Taipei 2026), scheduled from 24 to 27 June 2026 in Taiwan. Local businesses have until 23 March 2026 to submit their applications.

Thandeka Dlamini, Manager of External Trade Promotion at EIPA, encouraged participation, saying, “Food Taipei presents an exceptional platform for emaSwati food and beverage producers to showcase their products on an international stage. Participating businesses will have the opportunity to present their value proposition, benchmark against global brands, and gain first-hand insights into key export markets. This exposure is critical for companies looking to expand beyond our borders and strengthen their competitiveness. Exposure to buyers and to the Asian market is also a valuable opportunity that the businesses will get to enjoy at the Trade Show. All of these benefits come together to assist these traders with bolstering the export capability of these producers to new markets in Asia and various locations based on buyer interest.”

The exhibition allows traders direct access to potential buyers, distributors, and trade partners, helping them market products in the competitive Asian market. Interested participants can complete the online application at https://tinyurl.com/EIPAFoodTaipeiForm.

Through the support of the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), EIPA will facilitate the participation of Eswatini-based businesses at the international event. Dlamini added, “We are grateful for the continued partnership with TAITRA, which allows us to create global exhibition opportunities for Eswatini-based businesses. The Eswatini–Taiwan Economic Cooperation Agreement (ECA) offers preferential trading conditions between our two countries, particularly benefiting businesses in the agro-processing sector.”
