Mbabane: Prime Minister Ambrose Mandvulo Dlamini has urged Business Eswatini to come up with business initiatives similar to that of Vukani BoMake Projects so to empower young people to get into business. In particular for young women.
Dlamini was speaking at Business Eswatini Headquarters at Emafini, during a Business Eswatini Partnership Recognition Ceremony for the Vukani BoMake Projects on Wednesday September 09, 2020. This partnership recognition is part of the Business Women Eswatini’s project of extending business opportunities to women across all the 59 Tinkhundla in the country.

Dlamini said he believes that the future of the country is in the private sector hence the government want the private sector to create jobs and wealth for the Kingdom. Dlamini added that the duty of the government is to make sure that every business, large and small, is successful.
Business Women Eswatini Chair Tokky Hou said her organization believes that Eswatini can be a textile hub, therefore she encouraged Emaswati to buy local. She added that such projects will empower every women in the country while changing the Kingdom of Eswatini.
President Andrew Le Roux said Vukani BoMake is an example of growing the Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs), empowering women, devolution of development into Tinkhundla. Le Roux said in as much as the economy is tough but every decision taken must be taken with SMEs in mind.
