The man of the cloth urged the public not to hesitate to go to the Lubombo Referral Hospital if one tested positive for COVID-19.

“Every day I saw people leave the hospital alive and so did I,” commented the Bishop.

“Covid-19 is a thief and I solicit the prayers of the saints against this demon. Beloved saints, let’s destroy this covid-19 demon in prayer. The prayer of the righteous availed much.” Reads Nkambule’s post.

Nkambule follows Mbabane Alliance Church Bishop Reverend Johannes Vuyisile Mazibuko who also survived this deadly sickness.

Speaking to the Eswatini Observer Conference of Churches President Bishop Steven Masilela said Christians are also human and were bound to contract diseases. He said they also live and mingle with people in the same communities where the cases are reported. “They do not get it because they are going to church but simply because they are also human beings living in the communities where these diseases have been recorded,” stated Masilela.

He added that people should not fear going to church due to some church members having contracted the disease. They should go to church but comply with the precautions issued by the World Health Organization and the ministry of health, said Masilela.
