SIPHOFANENI – Relief has swept through the Siphofaneni community after 29-year-old Samkeliso Nelly Tfwala, who had been reported missing over the weekend, was found alive.
Tfwala was last seen at her rented flat in Fairview on February 14, 2026, prompting concern from family members and neighbours who alerted authorities. The Royal Eswatini Police Service launched an investigation through the Manzini region and issued a public appeal for information regarding her whereabouts.
On Monday, police confirmed that Tfwala had been located alive. In a brief statement, the law enforcement agency expressed profound appreciation to members of the public for their unwavering support during the search.
The initial report had mobilised residents in Siphofaneni and surrounding areas, with officers urging anyone with information to come forward. Emergency contact numbers were circulated widely as part of efforts to trace her movements.
While authorities have not yet released further details surrounding the circumstances of her disappearance, the development has brought relief to her family and the wider community.
Police have thanked emaSwati who responded to the call for assistance, saying community cooperation remains vital in resolving such cases swiftly.
