Mbabane – The Deputy Prime Minister’s Office, in collaboration with the Baphalali Eswatini Red Cross Society, began distributing essential clothing and footwear to families reunited through the Asibambeni Sibe Ngumdeni program on Friday, 13th February 2026.
The initiative visited four families across the Hhohho region, with plans to expand to other regions. The program provides high-quality apparel for adults and children donated by members of the public through the Red Cross.
“This initiative serves as a vital pillar in our mission to rebuild and reunite families who have faced the hardships of abandonment and neglect,” the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office said.
The program aims not only to supply clothing but to restore dignity and strengthen family bonds. The office expressed gratitude to the Red Cross for its support, noting its role in ensuring that no family is left behind.
“By providing these essentials, we are actively restoring the social fabric and bringing back the dignity of every citizen,” the office added.
