Mbabane – MulaSport topped online searches for sports betting, football, and daily information needs in the Kingdom of Eswatini over the past week, month, and three months, according to data from Google Trends.
The data reflects search activity by users in Eswatini and shows consistent interest in sports betting platforms, live football fixtures and weather updates, with MulaSport maintaining a leading position despite fluctuations in interest levels.
Over the past week, MulaSport ranked as the most searched term in the country, even as search interest dipped by four percent. Weather related searches followed with a slight one percent increase, while MulaSport login queries dropped by nine percent. Sports betting platforms eBet and 8Bet remained popular, with eBet searches rising by nine percent and eBet login searches increasing by ten percent. Facebook searches grew by five percent, while Premier League related queries rose by 20 percent.
Rising weekly searches were driven largely by football matches, with breakout interest recorded for fixtures such as Lazio Rome versus Genoa CFC, Manchester United versus Fulham and Orlando Pirates versus Magesi. Other European league matches, including Athletic Bilbao versus Real Sociedad, Levante UD versus Atletico Madrid and Espanyol Barcelona versus Deportivo Alaves, also attracted sudden attention from Eswatini users.
During the past month, MulaSport continued to dominate search rankings, although interest declined by 20 percent. Weather searches dropped by ten percent, while live score searches surged by 40 percent. Interest in Real Madrid climbed by 60 percent, reflecting strong local following of major European clubs. Facebook searches increased by nine percent during the same period.

Monthly rising searches showed growing attention to international football and weather related concerns. Nigeria versus Morocco and Nigeria versus Mozambique recorded breakout interest, while searches linked to a severe flood risk rose by 4 700 percent. High profile European fixtures such as Bodø Glimt versus Manchester City, Real Sociedad versus Barcelona and Nottingham Forest versus Arsenal also featured prominently.
Over the past three months, weather related searches increased by 80 percent, with weather tomorrow rising by 70 percent. MulaSport and other sports betting platforms such as eBet and 8Bet remained consistently among the most searched terms in Eswatini. Premier League searches rose by 30 percent, while Arsenal recorded a 60 percent increase, making it the most searched club over this period.
Longer term rising searches were dominated by major football events, with Africa Cup of Nations and AFCON recording breakout growth. Matches involving Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Newcastle, as well as international fixtures such as Egypt versus South Africa and South Africa versus India, continued to draw strong interest from online users across the Kingdom.
