MBABANE — Lokuhle Media Group has announced two major live music productions scheduled for Mbabane between June and July 2026, positioning them as key moments for the country’s cultural and spiritual calendar.
The announcement was made by the group’s director, Phindokuhle Tfwebula Sitfombe Sithole, who confirmed that the productions are titled Becoming A Live Worship Recording and Inevitable The Album Tour Eswatini Edition. The events are being staged as part of a broader vision tied to excellence, purpose and national development in line with the King’s Mandate of NKWE.
The first event, Becoming A Live Worship Recording, is set for 27 June 2026 in Mbabane. It will be led by worship leader Sphe, born Siphesihle Nika Khumalo, and is being framed as a worship gathering rather than a standard music concert. According to organisers, the recording is centred on surrender, transformation and spiritual encounter, with the intention of creating space for deep worship.
“This is more than a musical event. It is a testimony, a spiritual marker, and a national moment of worship,” said Sithole. He said the production reflects the direction of worship expression in Eswatini, describing it as authentic, disciplined and spiritually grounded.
A week later, on Saturday 04 July 2026, Lokuhle Media Group will host Inevitable The Album Tour, headlined by South African jazz musician Siyanqoba Mthethwa. The event will run from 18:00 to 22:00 in Mbabane and is expected to draw jazz enthusiasts for an evening blending African musical heritage, gospel foundations and international jazz influences.
Mthethwa, who was born in Esikhawini and raised in a Christian household, has worked with several prominent artists including Judith Sephuma, Ntokozo Mbambo, Sibongile Khumalo and Jabu Hlongwane. His career includes performing at the Nelson Mandela Memorial Service, and organisers say his Mbabane performance will deliver an intimate and polished live experience.
“This tour represents the artistic depth, discipline, and excellence we aim to consistently bring to Eswatini,” said Sithole.
Beyond the two upcoming events, Lokuhle Media Group is also involved in other national projects, including A New Dawn, a live worship recording by Her Royal Highness Nothando Hlophe. The project is being produced in collaboration with Genesis Ekucaleni Media and Eswatini Mobile.
