Mbabane is set to host a youth focused business and innovation engagement as the Municipal Council of Mbabane partners with the Youth Enterprise Revolving Fund to roll out a Youth Masterclass on Smart City Living and youth led entrepreneurship.

The event, themed “Beyond the Piggy Bank: Masterclass on Investing for Mbabane’s Youth”, is scheduled for 30 January 2026 at Coronation Park from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm and will bring together young entrepreneurs, innovators and aspiring business owners from within the city.

According to the organisers, the masterclass is aimed at preparing Mbabane youth to actively participate in a smart city economy by providing access to knowledge, innovation tools and funding opportunities tailored to young people.

Participants will engage on issues centred on unlocking the economy through youth, harnessing artificial intelligence for the next generation and mental health awareness for young entrepreneurs. The programme also includes unlocking local sourcing business opportunities and the activation of YERF funding specifically for Mbabane youth.
