Johannesburg – Athini Bashe, the ex-fiancé of content creator Ntandokazi Mzamo, has reportedly addressed rumours surrounding their split, denying allegations that Mzamo cheated or is pregnant.
On Wednesday, 21 January 2026, social media user @joy_zelda shared a post said to be from Athini, in which he wrote, “Let me quickly address something. Ntandokazi didn’t cheat on me, she is not pregnant, and she is not the things you write about so please respect her.” The statement circulated widely as speculation about the former couple continued to trend online.
The post appeared intended to clear Mzamo’s name and call on social media users to show her respect, but it sparked mixed reactions. Some users accused Athini of attempting to repair the relationship through public sympathy, while others criticised the timing and tone of the message.
User @aneleflawz commented, “He’s trying to win her back by saying all the good things… We have been here too, he’s thinking she will say oooh what a sweet man.” Another, @SagewaseSouthAh, wrote, “When you are a fool, you are a fool. Give this clown crocodile meat.”
Meanwhile, @RabeNgege suggested the post reflected deeper tensions, saying, “It’s a meltdown: Go tell your followers to stop talking bad about me. You can’t claim to love me but keep quiet when people are bashing me. Silence could mean supporting them.”
