Mbabane – Nsingizini Hotspurs Football Club has confirmed the permanent transfers of Joel Madondo and Sambulo Simelane, dealing a major setback to the Eswatini team as it continues to lose key players.

Madondo has joined Richards Bay FC in South Africa’s Betway Premiership, while Simelane has moved to Hard Rock FC in Zimbabwe. Both clubs agreed personal terms with the players before completing the transfers.

The club released statements on Monday evening confirming that offers for both players were received and accepted, ending their time with Nsingizini Hotspurs. Madondo’s move gives him the chance to compete in top-flight South African football, while Simelane begins a new chapter in Zimbabwean football.

The exits reflect a growing trend of Nsingizini Hotspurs serving as a platform for players seeking opportunities beyond Eswatini. While the departures show the quality being developed at the club, they leave a significant gap in the squad ahead of the rest of the season.

The club thanked the players for their contributions, saying, “We wish Madondo and Simelane success in their new challenges.” Nsingizini Hotspurs also acknowledged the professionalism of Richards Bay FC and Hard Rock FC during the transfer processes.

Supporters now await to see how Nsingizini Hotspurs will adjust on the pitch after losing another influential duo.
