Mbabane Highlanders AM Football Club have appointed former Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Brilliant Khuzwayo to their technical team with immediate effect.
The Mbabane based club confirmed the development on Sunday, bringing in Khuzwayo as part of efforts to strengthen the technical bench ahead of ongoing domestic competitions. The appointment comes as Highlanders AM look to build depth in expertise and improve performance standards across the club.
Khuzwayo arrives with extensive experience from the South African Premier Soccer League, having played for two of the continent’s most decorated clubs, Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates. He also earned international exposure with Bafana Bafana, experience the club believes will benefit players and staff alike.
Club officials said Khuzwayo’s transition into technical roles after his playing career, combined with his understanding of modern football demands, fits into Highlanders AM’s broader plans to develop players and maintain competitiveness in the MTN Premier League.
The Black Bull management noted that reinforcing the technical team remains central to their long term vision, both for immediate results and sustainable growth.
Khuzwayo has since joined the team in Mbabane, where he begins his new role as the club continues its push to remain among the leading sides in Eswatini football.
