Johannesburg – Marcia Cia Morata has become the first housemate to leave the Big Brother Mzansi Bazozwa season, just days after the show premiered on DStv.

Her exit was confirmed on Thursday following concerns about her wellbeing inside the house. The season officially launched on Sunday, 11 January 2026.

On Thursday, Morata became emotional and was seen crying. Earlier on Friday morning, after a scheduled yoga session, she indicated that she was not feeling well and approached Big Brother to request assistance. She received immediate support before being referred to the on site psychologist for further assessment.

Following the evaluation, a decision was taken that it would be in Morata’s best interest to exit the competition, leading to her departure from the Bazozwa house. The move was made to prioritise her health and overall wellbeing.
