The Royal Eswatini Police Service has reported that 13-year-old Samkelo Vuma Dlamini, who went missing from his home in Ntondozi on Friday evening, has been found alive and reunited with his family.
Samkelo, a Liswati from Mnyokane, was last seen at around 6pm on 9 January 2026. Authorities had classified his disappearance as urgent due to his health condition and the need for possible medical attention.
Police say the boy was located yesterday evening by a community member in the Colo area. The service expressed gratitude to residents of Ntondozi and surrounding communities for their assistance in ensuring Samkelo’s safe return.
During the search, the public was urged to contact Manzini RCBO Senior Superintendent Thabo Hlophe on 7606 8570, Malkerns Police desk officer Assistant Inspector Gamedze on 7623 2716, or investigating officer Lungile Dlamini on 7614 4272. Emergency numbers 999, 9999, or 112 were also available for tips.
