The Royal Eswatini Police Service has reported that 13-year-old Samkelo Vuma Dlamini, who went missing from his home in Ntondozi on Friday evening, has been found alive and reunited with his family.

Samkelo, a Liswati from Mnyokane, was last seen at around 6pm on 9 January 2026. Authorities had classified his disappearance as urgent due to his health condition and the need for possible medical attention.

Police say the boy was located yesterday evening by a community member in the Colo area. The service expressed gratitude to residents of Ntondozi and surrounding communities for their assistance in ensuring Samkelo’s safe return.
