Mbabane – The Kingdom of Eswatini will host the 76th East, Central and Southern Africa Health Ministers’ Conference from 3 to 5 February 2026 at the Happy Valley Hotel in Ezulwini.
The three day event, themed Enhancing Health Systems for Equity, Resilience and Sustainability, will bring together health ministers from across East, Central and Southern Africa, along with senior policymakers, researchers, and leaders from global health institutions. Key participants include representatives from the World Health Organization, Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention, the World Bank, and the private sector.
The conference is being jointly hosted by the ECSA Health Community and the Government of Eswatini. Discussions will focus on building stronger and more inclusive healthcare systems, sharing best practices, and exploring innovative solutions to regional health challenges.
Minister for Health Mduduzi Matsebula is scheduled to deliver the keynote address, where he will outline Eswatini’s initiatives in strengthening health services and advancing Universal Health Coverage. His presentation will showcase local reforms and lessons that can be adapted by other countries in the region to improve healthcare delivery.
