Mbabane – A fourth multiple robbery suspect has been arrested and charged with cellphone theft after the initial appearance of three co-accused men six months ago at the Mbabane Magistrates Court, according to the prosecution’s amended charge sheet.

Gift Mangaliso Mbuyisa (20) of Mangwaneni is appearing as the fourth suspect, co-charged with Mbonisi Hluma Magongo (25) of Lobamba, Phinda Basotho Mookebe (19) of Mahwalala and Sabelo Samkelo Zwane (27) of Gcina.

The men are accused of multiple housebreaking and robbery charges. They face five joint charges. They are out of custody after paying varied bail amounts. Court records show that accused one and two, Magongo and Mookebe, were granted E6000 bail each. Zwane, the third accused, was granted E4000 bail. The record also states that Mbuyisa (fourth accused) was granted E1000 bail along with the others on June 16, 2025, and that he was skipped due to an error, resulting in the altered charge sheet.

The accused individuals briefly appeared in court on Monday, but the case was postponed until January 13th at the request of the prosecution to continue proceedings.
