Mbabane – The Premier League of Eswatini has confirmed the resignation of its Brand and Marketing Manager Lindokuhle Mthupha, bringing clarity to weeks of speculation around her sudden absence from the organisation.
The confirmation was made through a media statement issued on January 1 2026, informing partners sponsors and stakeholders that Mthupha stepped down from her position with effect from December 24 2025. The League described the move as final and said further communication would be shared once offices reopen on January 6 2026.
PLE said no additional comment would be made at this stage.
Mthupha’s departure comes at a sensitive period for the League, which oversees the country’s top tier football competition and manages key commercial relationships. As Brand and Marketing Manager, she played a central role in sponsorship activation marketing strategy and shaping the League’s public image.
The statement did not give reasons for her resignation and did not indicate whether an interim or permanent replacement has been appointed to fill the position.
