Addis Ababa – Prime Ministers Narendra Modi of India and Abiy Ahmed Ali of Ethiopia met in Addis Ababa today for wide-ranging discussions, agreeing to elevate bilateral relations to a Strategic Partnership. The talks explored ways to expand cooperation across trade and investment, innovation, technology, education, defence, health, food security, agriculture, renewable energy and digital public infrastructure. Both leaders also reflected on the long-standing historical and people-to-people ties linking the two nations and exchanged views on regional and global developments.
