Two club captains have been recognised for their leadership and outstanding form after being crowned Players of the Month for November in Eswatini’s top football divisions.
Madlenya FC forward Thobelani Gamedze secured the MulaSport National First Division award following a prolific month in which he scored four goals. The striker, who leads his side as captain, received E2 500 for his performances. His influence has been central to Madlenya’s improved attack, and his consistency has drawn admiration from supporters as well as league officials. Speaking after receiving the award, Gamedze said he was pleased with his progress and committed to pushing his team further.

In the MTN Premier League, Nsingizini Hotspurs captain Neliswa Tiger Dlamini walked away with the E7 000 prize after an impressive run that saw him score three goals. His contribution has been instrumental in keeping the defending champions at the top of the log. Team insiders say Dlamini’s ability to lift the squad during critical matches has strengthened Hotspurs’ title defence.
Both awards were announced as league fixtures resume, with attention now shifting to whether the two captains can carry their dominant form into the coming weeks as their clubs chase higher ambitions.
