Matsapha – The Eswatini Water Services Corporation has been recognised with the 16th AAPAM Innovation Management Award for its EWSC App and chatbot Temanti, which have transformed how customers access water services.
The award was presented during the 44th AAPAM Regional Training Conference held at Sibayeni Lodge, Matsapha. EWSC Director of Business Enablement and Corporate Affairs, Nomahlubi Matiwane, delivered the final presentation to the Minister of Public Service, Hon. Mabulala S. Maseko, AAPAM President Dr. John Nakabago, and representatives from other African public service providers. The Corporation stood out as the best innovator among more than 40 entrants.
The EWSC App and Temanti chatbot allow customers to pay bills, report leakages and faults, apply for new water connections, and access a range of services remotely. The initiative reflects the corporation’s #Phumedelezini campaign, which aims to make efficient water services a daily reality for Eswatini residents.
