Mbabane – On 25 November, the Ministry of ICT’s Department of Research, Science, Technology and Innovation (RSTI), together with the Kingdom of Eswatini Academy of Sciences (KEAS), brought together stakeholders for the KEAS Annual Research Conference under the theme “From Evidence to Action: Mobilizing Science for Eswatini’s Development Agenda.”
The conference aimed to promote open science and data sharing as tools for national development, strengthen links between research evidence and policy, and encourage collaboration among researchers, government agencies, and the private sector.

She noted that scientific progress must benefit all citizens and called for bridging the digital divide, advancing inclusive STEM education, and creating opportunities for all Emaswati, regardless of gender or socio-economic background, to engage in research and innovation.
