Mbabane: “Where oh death is your victory? Where oh death is your sting?” asks the Apostle Paul in the Book of 1 Corinthians 15:55.

The above portion of scripture rings true to what has befell the Mbabane Alliance Church, and more broadly the Alliance Church fellowship countrywide, after reports of the passing of Mbabane Alliance Church leader Reverend Johannes Mazibuko’s wife, Pastor Rose Mazibuko made rounds.

Pastor Mazibuko is said to have battled with a chronic disease for a long time. She passed on last evening at one of the leading sickbays in the country, as confirmed by Mbabane Alliance Church Operations Manager, Maqhawe Sibandze this morning. Sibandze said they had met with the Mazibuko family where it was proposed that the funeral would be next weekend at her homestead at Mpolonjeni outside Mbabane. “It has not been decided as yet what day it will be but most likely it will be on the Saturday,” said Sibandze, adding that his office will keep everyone posted on which day has been chosen.
