Mbabane In bid to safely open the tourism industry, the Minister of Tourism and Environmental Affairs Moses Vilakati has launched “Eswatini Tourism Covid-19 Health and Safety Guidelines”.

This is a Bible which the tourism sector should abide by as businesses gradually opens in the new normal. The guidelines are meant to safely ensure safety and improved standards as tourism establishments open during this era of covid-19.

The launch of the guidelines were graced by the presence of the UN resident Coordinator, Top Officials from the Minister of Tourism and the Tourism Association. Speaking during the official launch at the Royal Villas, Ezulwini the Minister said the new guidelines are a commitment by both government as well as the tourism industry to conduct business in the way that preserve health and advances economic activity.

The guidelines come at a time when government was still on its plans to gradually open the economy. The minister said all businesses must adhere to all the Covid-19 regulations by government and the World Health Organization (WHO) as well as follow the guidelines specially created for the tourism industry.

The tourism industry is one of the industries that were negative impacted by the corona virus pandemic. Vilakati called upon travelers to understand that this is the new normal. The guidelines are meant to ensure that tourists who come in to Eswatini must be well assure of the health and safety

The guidelines are meant to strange then the safety of all tourists and also to ensure Eswatini I s a safe country to visit. Establishments were encouraged to do more as this could be they greatest selling point and provide the beast Royal Experience to clients.

Eswatini ready for a structured opening of the industry and as meant to show that the Kingdom Of Eswatini is ready to welcome tourists.
