Matsapha Town Council, in collaboration with local vendors, hosted its Annual Informal Traders Conference under the theme “Trading Stronger Together” to honour the significant contributions of registered informal traders to the town’s thriving economy. The event, which took place recently, aimed to recognize the vital role these traders play in supporting small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and driving Matsapha’s status as a key business and investment hub.
The Council presented awards to traders who have shown resilience and dedication, acknowledging their impact on local commerce and the ongoing development of Matsapha.
Several key organizations, including the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA), Liberty Life, Eswatini Building Society, and the Royal Eswatini Police Service, participated in the event. These groups provided important tools, resources, and advice to help traders navigate entrepreneurial challenges and expand their businesses.
