Lozitha Palace – His Majesty King Mswati III has called on the nation to draw closer to God and remain steadfast in prayer, regardless of the challenges they face. The message was delivered during the 2025 End of Year National Thanksgiving Prayer Service at Mandvulo Grand Hall, Lozitha Palace, under the theme “Sing a New Song, For God Has Done Marvellous Things.”
During a sermon titled “Breaking Free from the Prison of Your Mind,” the King encouraged the nation to free their minds and return to heartfelt worship. He told emaSwati to kneel before the Lord not to seek His favour, but to honour Him genuinely. He reassured the congregation that those who remain close to God will witness miracles and will not be consumed by life’s trials.
The service attracted a number of international dignitaries and religious leaders, including former President Joseph Kabila and his family, former President Dr Ian Khama, representatives of the Sulu Sultanate, Reverend Mark Banks from the United States, apostles from Switzerland, and other men and women of God. His Majesty described their presence as a blessing and a sign of God’s continued favour over Eswatini.

Visiting ministers delivered prophetic messages declaring that the Kingdom of Eswatini would become a “pulpit of Africa” and experience significant change and economic blessings by God’s grace. His Majesty encouraged the nation to respond by humbling themselves in prayer and interceding for the country, families and homes, workplaces, businesses, the unemployed, and people around the world.
“Today is a Thanksgiving service that reminds us that the Lord has led us throughout the year. We are here to thank Him for His grace, His presence and His protection over our lives and over the Kingdom of Eswatini,” said the King. He added that in tumultuous situations, emaSwati should draw closer to God, lift their hands in worship, and trust in His mighty breakthrough.
His Majesty also urged citizens not to take God’s grace and favour for granted, advising them to continue praying earnestly morning, afternoon, and evening for the nation, its leaders, and its people. He reassured that God does not forget those who worship Him, promising that He will guard them jealously and grant victory.
