KZN — At the KwaKhangelamakengane Royal Residence in KwaZulu-Natal, Misuzulu ka Zwelithini, the monarch of the Zulu country, is getting married to Queen Nomzamo Myeni today.

After Ntokozo kaMayisela and Eswatini Bank Managing Director (MD) Nozizwe Mulela, Queen LaMyeni of the Jozini region in northern KwaZulu-Natal is King Misuzulu’s third wife.

The traditional marriage ritual began on Friday with the uMkhehlo ceremony. Thousands of people continue to attend the event, which emphasises cultural relevance.

With a few minor delays, the event was scheduled to begin this morning at approximately nine o’clock.
