JOHANNESBURG – “I’m very much Alive.”
These were the words of Soth African media personality, Pabi Moloi, setting the record straight after shocking rumours about her alleged death circulated online earlier this week.
On Monday, social media was abuzz with false reports claiming that the beloved television and radio presenter had passed away. The news quickly gained traction, prompting an outpouring of confusion and concern from fans.
In response, Moloi took to her social media platforms to share a light-hearted yet firm message confirming that she is alive and well.
“I thought everything weird that could happen to me has already happened to me,” she said in a video addressing the rumours.
“I thought being body shamed, being on the best dressed list and the worst dressed in the same year was strange — but this might be the weirdest. Guys, I’m alive. I’m very much alive. I literally saw someone say RIP.”
Moloi added that while the experience was bizarre, she chose to approach it with humour.
“Well, I’m going to have a ripping rest of my life and I’m still here,” she concluded.
Fans have since flooded Moloi’s posts with messages of relief and support, expressing their happiness that she is safe and thriving.
