Ngobelweni Chiefdom, Kubuta Inkhundla – The Eswatini National Trust Commission (ENTC) led an exploration of Kubuta Cave on Friday, uncovering layers of the kingdom’s history and culture. The mission drew local community members and Kubuta Bucopho to the site, which holds stories of the nation’s ancestors.
Ms. Temahlubi Nkambule, National Monuments Officer at ENTC, called on emaSwati to report culturally significant sites to the Commission. She noted the importance of understanding these sacred spaces from an emaSwati perspective, reflecting the identity and heritage of the people.
The exploration continues the Commission’s work to protect and celebrate Eswatini’s natural and cultural heritage while sharing the kingdom’s untold stories with the wider public.
