Ses’khona tourist train set to run from Matsapha to Maputo

Matsapha – Eswatini Railways has announced the launch of the Ses’khona Tourist Train, offering passengers a unique journey from Matsapha to Maputo. The three-day adventure is set to run from Friday, 19 December to Sunday, 21 December 2025.

The train will feature three ticket packages to suit different travel preferences. The Platinum Package, priced at E4,200 per person, includes first-class sleeper coach accommodation for four people per compartment, dedicated ushers and waiters, complimentary meals with room service, four-star lodging, breakfast, and guided tours. The first ten passengers to purchase Platinum tickets will receive a complimentary power bank.

The Gold Package costs E3,100 per person and offers a second-class sleeper coach with six passengers per compartment, train crew service, light meals, three-star accommodation with breakfast, and guided tours. Early buyers of this package will receive a Stanley cup, with only 48 tickets available.

The Silver Package, priced at E2,600 per person, provides second-class open coach seating, train crew services, light meals, three-star lodging with breakfast, and guided tours. This package has no ticket limit, making it ideal for groups or families.
