MANZINI – Teachers across Eswatini are in for a treat as the 2025 SNAT Teachers’ Day Bash brings together top local and South African artists at the Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre on 24 October.
The line-up includes gospel star Phathwakahle Mabuza, award-winning Linda Dlamini, Afro-pop sensation Young Zesh, and DJ Cup, alongside emerging talents like Trend Twins, Tibza Tubuko Nxumalo, Cybos, Lady Zee, DJ MBO, and Jerry P. South African performers headlining the event include Sjava, Umfakizolo, and Khadeair, who will close the after-party with a headline performance.
The event is curated by SNAT Platform and New Life Entertainment, aiming to showcase Eswatini’s home-grown talent on a national stage while celebrating teachers’ contributions. The partnership between SNAT and New Life Entertainment, formalized through a 2024 Memorandum of Understanding, supports cultural events that honour the teaching profession and the arts community.
Tickets are available via Computicket, Howler, and Pick n Pay Moja Ticket. Prices are E50 for SNAT members, E200 for non-members, and E100 for cooler box entry.
Thembinkosi Mthethwa of New Life Entertainment said the event is designed to give local artists recognition and to show appreciation for teachers, who are “the backbone of the nation.”
SNAT, founded in 1928, is Eswatini’s oldest teachers’ union and remains active in promoting community development through initiatives that combine education, culture, and entertainment, including exclusive discounts to events such as the annual Makoti Festival at Malkerns Country Club.
