Mbabane – Fintech company Instacash has offered employment to Sebenele Dlamini, a University of Eswatini (UNESWA) graduate who was recently dismissed from her job for attending her graduation ceremony over the weekend.
Instacash Managing Director Cheeks Mnguni Nxumalo announced on Wednesday on his Facebook page that Dlamini who graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science Education, will be joining the company’s IT Department effective 1 November 2025. Nxumalo said the decision reinforces the importance of valuing education and creating opportunities for young professionals.
“It was a great meeting with Sebe Dlamini this morning and she agreed to join our IT department,” Nxumalo stated. “We must continue to send a message about the importance of education in society. With a BSc in Computer Science Education from UNESWA, this is the right place for her to grow and develop.”
Dlamini made headlines after being fired by her employer at Let US Repair, located at Matsapha Lifestyle Centre, for attending her own graduation ceremony on Saturday at Kwaluseni Campus. The employer, identified as Abu Sufyani, has since faced public criticism and mounting pressure to compensate Dlamini for what many have called an unfair dismissal.
