New York – Minister of Information, Communications and Technology, Savannah Maziya, met with Richard Rothenberg, Global CEO of Global AI, on Friday, 3 October 2025, in New York. The meeting included Mr. Mavuso, First Secretary at the Eswatini Embassy in New York.
The discussions focused on developing national policies to attract investment while safeguarding citizens through responsible AI algorithms. The conversation also covered impact funding in the ICT sector, noting that Global AI collaborates with institutions such as the World Bank, pension funds, and global commercial banks to support such initiatives.
Eswatini aims to leverage these partnerships to position itself as a leader in AI policy that balances investor confidence with citizen protection.
