MBABANE – Eswatini is experiencing a continuation of cold and wet weather, with cloudy skies, light rain, and fog reported in several regions, the Eswatini Meteorological Service says.
Earlier today, most parts of the country remained cloudy and cold, with drizzle and fog observed mainly over higher ground. The Highveld recorded very low temperatures. Winds are generally light from the south-east, becoming moderate in the eastern areas.
Temperature readings this afternoon include Mbabane, Nhlangano, and Pigg’s Peak 09/13 degrees Celsius, Hlatsi 08/12, Mankayane 10/14, Manzini 12/16, Siteki and Lomahasha 11/15, Buhleni and Mayiwane 12/17, Mhlume and Simunye 13/18, and Big Bend and Lavumisa 14/19.
Sunrise occurred at 05:31 and sunset is expected at 17:55.
The meteorological service advises residents to take care in foggy and wet conditions as the cold weather persists into the weekend.
