MBABANE – The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Trade has cautioned the public against a fraudulent online message claiming that government is offering grants for entrepreneurs, miners and farmers.
The warning was issued today after reports surfaced of a statement circulating on social media under the name “Ministry of Commerce Eswatini”. Officials confirmed that the communication did not come from the ministry’s official channels and that the page spreading the notice is not authentic.
Principal Secretary Melusi Masuku said the ministry has not announced any grant opportunities at this time and urged citizens to verify all information directly from its verified website and social media platforms.
He further encouraged members of the public to contact the ministry for clarification or to report suspicious messages.
The ministry is headquartered at the Inter-Ministerial Building in Mbabane and can be reached via its official email and contact numbers.
