Mbabane – Ford has introduced new appearance packages for its popular Ranger XLT and Everest Sport models, with the black styling packs now available through dealerships in Southern Africa, including Autofin Ford Eswatini in Mbabane.

The packages, fully approved by Ford Motor Company Southern Africa, can be fitted before a vehicle is delivered or added to existing models. They are covered by Ford’s four-year or 120 000 km warranty, while buyers fitting them to current or pre-owned models will benefit from a two-year, unlimited kilometre parts warranty.

The move comes as South Africa’s market for vehicle personalisation continues to grow into a multi-million rand industry, with Ford tapping into strong demand for unique styling on its bakkies and SUVs — a trend also visible in Eswatini, where the Ranger remains one of the most popular double cabs on the road.

For the Ranger XLT, the pack is priced at E27 500 and includes a darkened grille with block-letter FORD badging, matte black door mouldings, a black Ranger script on the bonnet, black wheel-arch extensions and darkened LED headlight clusters. It also adds a black lower air intake, sports bar and smoked taillight finish.

The Everest Sport package costs E18 000 and applies similar enhancements. Buyers get darkened trims on the grille, headlight surrounds, door moulds, roof rails and taillights, along with a black Everest script on the bonnet and decals on the doors. Brand-specific treadplates are added inside, while black 18-inch alloy wheels remain standard.
