Mbabane – Motorists entering Eswatini will pay revised toll fees from 1 October 2025 following a review by the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Public Works and Transport and the Eswatini Revenue Service (ERS).

The adjustment was made under Section 4 of the Finance (Amendment) Act 2025 and will affect both locally and foreign registered vehicles at the country’s various land borders.

According to the notice, foreign-registered motorcycles will now pay E80 at ports of entry with South Africa, while light motor vehicles with or without trailers will pay E150. Heavy motor vehicles with two axles will be charged E350, those with three axles E400, and trucks with four axles or more E450.

At the Mhlumeni and Lomahasha borders with Mozambique, light commercial motor vehicles will pay E150, while heavy vehicles with two axles will be charged E350. Trucks with three or more axles will pay the equivalent of USD 100 per vehicle.
