New York – Eswatini’s Country Programme Document (CPD) for 2026 to 2030 has been approved by the Executive Board of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS).
The endorsement was granted yesterday during the board’s 7th meeting in New York, clearing the way for the Kingdom to begin rolling out its new five-year development strategy.
According to UNDP Eswatini, the CPD is fully aligned with the National Development Plan and the Sustainable Development Goals. It was drafted after wide-ranging consultations with government ministries, civil society, the private sector and community representatives.
