Manzini– The Eswatini Tourism Authority Research Department recently conducted a Day Visitor Survey training at The George Hotel in Manzini. The programme targeted supervisors and managers responsible for collecting data at tourist sites offering day activities.
The training aimed to equip participants with skills to use the Survey Application and analyse visitor data accurately. This will enable the timely submission of reliable information to ETA.
The survey tracks how and where visitors spend their time and money, the proportion of trip expenditures at specific attractions, and provides insights into the travel behaviours of different visitor types, including Emaswati. Discussions also explored how business owners can use survey results to refine marketing strategies and improve service delivery.
