Mbabane – Commonwealth Youth Ecosystem Stakeholders inaugural consultative dialogue attendee, Seluleko Simelane, vows to share his inspired experiences of the Namibian tour with Eswatini youth.
“The stakeholders’ consultation was insightful. We learnt quite a lot and I am looking forward to impacting that knowledge to the youth of Eswatini. The discussions were rich, engaging, and specifically focused on youth empowerment, innovation, and inclusive governance,” Simelane said.
He had attended the dialogue in Windhoek which was held from August 4-8.
Simelane said he is inspired to impact more youth to tackle youth empowerment, innovation, and inclusive governance and will ensure other young Eswatini voices are heard, thanking the opportunity to participate.
He specifically thanked the Eswatini National Youth Council for its trust and guidance, and the UNFPA Eswatini Country Office for its commitment to advancing youth empowerment and participation in key decision-making spaces.
He also acknowledged the Commonwealth Youth Council, Pan African Youth Union, and Commonwealth Youth Programme for creating a platform that amplifies the voices of young leaders.
Simelane said the dialogue which brought together delegates from across The Commonwealth centred on reimagining leadership and strengthening youth systems.
He highlighted the critical role played by young people in shaping the future of the Commonwealth, saying the participation amplified his voice.
He said this focus on youth-centric solutions aims to create a more inclusive and empowered youth ecosystem for all member nations.
