Johannesburg — Nissan has reduced prices across all turbocharged versions of its Magnite compact SUV, making the models more affordable without cutting back on features. The move brings some models below the R400,000 mark, with reductions ranging between 4% and 10%.
The new prices are as follows:
- 1.0T Visia: R295,900 (down from R309,700)
- 1.0T Acenta: R329,900 (down from R340,100)
- 1.0T Acenta CVT: R344,900 (down from R370,500)
- 1.0T Acenta Plus CVT: R369,900 (down from R410,700)
Nissan South Africa Managing Director Maciej Klenkiewicz said the adjustments were made to align pricing with the local market while giving customers access to high-spec, five-star Global NCAP safety-rated compact SUVs.

The powertrain remains unchanged. The 1.0-litre turbocharged engine continues to produce 74kW and 160Nm with a five-speed manual gearbox, or 152Nm when paired with a CVT. Fuel consumption figures are rated at 5.2L/100km for the manual and 6L/100km for the CVT.
All Magnite models carry a six-year/150,000 km warranty, along with a three-year/30,000 km service plan, except for the Move panel van.
The updated price list for the range starts at R229,900 for the Magnite Move panel van, while the range-topping Magnite 1.0T Acenta Plus CVT now costs R369,900.
