Eswatini records 11 new COVID-19 cases and four (4) new recoveries

Mbabane: Minister of Health Lizzie Nkosi has announced 11 new confirmed COVID-19 cases bringing up the total number of cases to 272.

Through a Ministerial statement Nkosi said the ministry received 112 results of which 101 came out negative and 11 tested positive.

10 of the new COVID-19 cases care from the Manzini region whereas one (1) is from Hhohho region. Manzini tops with a total of 161 cases followed by Hhohho region with 57 cases. Lubombo and Shiselweni has recorded 28 and 18 cases respectively.

On another note the Minister has announced four (4) new recoveries, bringing the total number of recoveries to 168.

Nkosi went on to encouraged to continue observing all safety advices given by the ministry of health and World Health Organization. This advices including frequent washing of hands with running water and soap, social distancing and wearing masks is also mandatory whenever one goes out to public areas and when having flue.

Nkosi has appreciated all health workers for their good work that has seen Eswatini having an enormous increase in the number of recoveries.
