MANZINI – Nedbank Eswatini has partnered with the Eswatini Investment Promotion Authority (EIPA) to sponsor E250,000 towards the country’s first Green Zone at the upcoming Eswatini International Trade Fair (EITF).

The Green Zone, a new feature at the trade fair, will showcase sustainable living, eco-innovation, and support for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the green economy. The initiative aims to encourage environmentally responsible business practices while promoting local entrepreneurship.

The 10-day trade fair will run from August 29 to September 8 under the theme: “Accelerating Inclusive and Sustainable Business Growth through Digitalisation and e-commerce.” Sibusiso Mnisi, External Trade Promotions at EIPA, said the event is expected to attract over 70,000 visitors.

Mnisi noted that the fair will combine business, culture, and sport, offering opportunities for youth development, tourism, and entrepreneurship. “The synergy between business and sport will be more visible than ever,” he said, adding that the event is an investment in people and potential.
