ANTANANARIVO, MADAGASCAR – His Majesty King Mswati III signed four SADC legal instruments on behalf of Eswatini during the 45th Ordinary Summit of Heads of State and Government.
The instruments include the agreement on the status of the SADC Standby Force for training, peace support operations, exercises, and humanitarian assistance, amendments to the Protocol on Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters and the Protocol on Extradition of 2019, and the Protocol Against Trafficking of Persons.
The King also joined other SADC leaders in signing the Protocol on Finance and Investment, which includes provisions addressing money laundering.
