JOHANNESBURG – The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has confirmed the dates and venues for the first-leg matches of the MTN8 semi-finals, with Orlando Pirates set to face Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday, 16 August.
The much-anticipated clash will take place at Orlando Stadium in Soweto, with kickoff scheduled for 3pm. It will be followed later that day by the second semi-final fixture between Stellenbosch FC and Sekhukhune United at Danie Craven Stadium in the Western Cape. That game kicks off at 6pm.
The announcement comes as football fans across Eswatini and Southern Africa gear up to follow the knockout tournament, which continues to draw significant regional interest due to the involvement of top-tier South African clubs.
The PSL noted that ticketing details for the matches will be communicated to the public in due course.
While the return leg dates have been pencilled in for the weekend of 23–24 August, the league is yet to confirm venues and kickoff times for the second-leg fixtures.
