TAIPEI – Twenty-four young leaders from Eswatini and fellow diplomatic allies Marshall Islands, Palau, and Tuvalu have completed the Diplomatic Allies Inbound Track Program in Taiwan, with Eswatini’s delegation receiving praise for their active participation and engagement.
The programme concluded on Monday, 4 August 2025, with Taiwan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Lin Chia-lung commending the participants for their enthusiasm in cultural exchange and commitment to learning.
Eswatini’s youth spent part of their training exploring smart agriculture practices at the Agricultural Research Institute and Younglin Shanlin Farm. They were introduced to precision irrigation systems, smart farming sensors, and automated cultivation techniques—areas Taiwan continues to invest in for sustainable food production.
Minister Lin said he hoped the group would return to their home countries equipped to contribute to national development and deepen people-to-people ties with Taiwan.
