EZULWINI – A high-level delegation from the Bank of Mozambique has arrived in Eswatini for a week-long knowledge exchange with the Central Bank of Eswatini (CBE), focusing on the ongoing construction of the new CBE Headquarters in Ezulwini.
The visit, which began on Monday morning, was officially opened by CBE Governor Dr. Phil Mnisi, who welcomed the visiting experts during a briefing held at the bank’s premises.
The Mozambican delegation will engage in joint sessions with the CBE project team, drawing on shared experiences from similar infrastructure projects undertaken in their country. They are also expected to contribute technical input while gathering insights from the CBE’s project execution approach.
Governor Mnisi pointed to the visit as a reflection of the growing relationship between Eswatini and Mozambique, particularly in trade and institutional development. He said the collaboration between both central banks plays a critical role in deepening economic cooperation between the two nations.
As part of the visit, the delegation will tour CBE-owned properties and join discussions on procurement processes, property management, workforce development, and other operational strategies tied to the bank’s long-term vision.
