MBABANE – Narrow Path Investment emerged as the overall winner of this year’s Hhohho Regional Entrepreneur of the Year Awards (EYA), walking away with the title of the region’s top business at a ceremony held this week.
The awards were presented by Minister of Commerce, Industry and Trade, Manqoba Khumalo, who also announced Old Mutual Eswatini as a new partner in the programme, following a sponsorship cheque of E50,000 from the insurance group.
Eight businesses received accolades across various categories, recognising innovation, resilience and compliance with business regulations. The winners included Doris Vilane for Outstanding Street Vendor, Temangweni Handicraft, Dinner’s Home under the youth-owned category, and Impero Investment for women-led businesses.

Minister Khumalo said Hhohho is the third region to be recognised under the programme this year. He noted the competition was steep and would likely intensify at the national stage.
The awards are part of a national initiative to promote entrepreneurship in Eswatini, particularly among informal traders, young business owners, people with disabilities, and those leading the shift towards digital and climate-conscious business models.
FNB Eswatini and the Small Enterprises Development Company (SEDCO) also used the occasion to unveil a Toyota Hilux Single Cab 2.4 GD6, valued at over E500,000. The vehicle will be handed over to the overall national winner at the 2025 edition of the awards.
