Maputo, Mozambique – Mozambican President Daniel Chapo met with leaders of the Episcopal Conference of Mozambique (CEM) on Tuesday, July 29, at the Presidential Palace in Maputo. The delegation, led by Archbishop João Carlos Nunes of Maputo, engaged the head of state on crucial national matters.
The discussions revolved around fostering peace, advancing national reconciliation, promoting inclusive development across the nation, and strengthening opportunities for Mozambican youth. President Chapo conveyed the government’s steadfast commitment to ongoing dialogue with all segments of society. He stated this commitment aims to collaboratively seek solutions to various challenges facing the country, ultimately guiding Mozambique towards more just and inclusive governance.
