MBABANE – Car buyers in Eswatini eyeing a new Volvo XC60 could benefit from an extended maintenance plan now being offered by Volvo Cars South Africa. The offer applies to all XC60 variants, including the mild-hybrid B5 and plug-in hybrid T8 Recharge, and is valid until the end of September 2025.
The Swedish automaker is replacing its standard three-year/60,000 km plan with a more generous seven-year/140,000 km package. This limited-time deal covers all scheduled services, labour, parts, and even software updates, based on Volvo’s official service schedule.
Grant Locke, Managing Director at Volvo Car South Africa, said the extended plan is designed to improve long-term ownership value and provide better cost control for customers. The XC60 has been a consistent performer for the brand and recently became Volvo’s best-selling model of all time, with more than 2.7 million units sold globally since its 2008 debut.
Local interest in hybrid and plug-in vehicles continues to grow, and Volvo’s offer could attract more buyers in Eswatini looking for premium vehicles with manageable long-term maintenance.
