EZULWINI – Over 80 local creatives and food producers will gather at Legends Shared on Saturday, 9 August, for the latest edition of the Ezulwini Farmer’s Market.
Running from 9am to 3pm, the event will feature a curated selection of handmade goods, organic foods, natural skincare, and artisan crafts—all made locally by small-scale producers from across Eswatini.
Inge Bock, the organiser of the market, said the space was intentionally created to give visibility to homegrown talent and sustainable products. “We only accept stalls that sell items made in Eswatini, on a small scale, and by the hands of local creatives,” she said.
Among the vendors expected is Scoop & Giggles, a handcrafted ice cream brand that recently took home a win at the 2024 People’s Peculia Choice Awards. The business is gaining attention for its preservative-free treats made with real fruit.
The market has become a fixture for residents who want to shop responsibly while enjoying a relaxed outdoor atmosphere filled with music, food and conversation under the trees of Ezulwini. Shoppers are encouraged to bring reusable bags in support of the event’s eco-conscious stance.
