MBABANE – In a major boost for access to international education, Young Heroes Eswatini has partnered with the Ashinaga Africa Initiative to offer three full university scholarships to exceptional orphaned youth from Eswatini, a statement said.
The successful candidates will have the opportunity to pursue higher education in Europe, Japan, the United States, or Brazil.
The scholarship programme is aimed at academically outstanding students who have lost one or both parents and are unable to afford tertiary education, it was stated.
The programme targets the youth who show leadership potential and a commitment to giving back to their communities.
Eligible applicants must be under the age of 23, in good health, have no dependents, and be among the top 10 percent of academic performers.
Proficiency in English is required, and candidates must demonstrate the financial need.
“This is a rare and life-changing opportunity for orphaned youth to access quality education abroad and unlock their global potential,” the statement said.
Applicants are required to submit an application letter, contact details, and certified copies of educational certificates. All documents must be sent via email to feedback@youngheroes.org.sz.
The deadline for applications is 29 July 2025. Young Heroes has called on qualifying youth across the country to apply and take advantage of this unique scholarship initiative.
The organisation emphasised the transformative power of education and the long-term impact it can have on individuals, families, and communities.
